Evil Laugh & Scary Scream Contest: It’s that time of year and we’re looking for some terrifying individuals to share their best evil laugh or scary scream. Be afraid, audience. Be very afraid.
Sunday
Kids Costume Contest: Youth ages 15 and under are invited to compete in our Halloween Costume Contest.
Monday
Mrs. Roper Costume Contest:
Step back in time with flair and fun at our Mrs. Roper Costume Contest! Channel the iconic style and vibrant personality of Mrs. Roper from the beloved TV show “Three’s Company” and strut your stuff at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire. Dust off your best 70s-inspired kaftans, bold jewelry, and flamboyant accessories. Whether you’re a seasoned Mrs. Roper impersonator or trying it out for the first time, all are welcome to join the fun. We will be looking for creativity, authenticity, and personality, so bring your best Mrs. Roper attitude and charm to win over the crowd!
Meet the Author: Each day of our show, we schedule a new up-and-coming fantasy author. Buy a book, get it signed, join their fan club, and grab a selfie to show you were there. See who the author is for a given day in the Guests Merchants section of our Shops page.
Contest Info: All contests occur on the Sovereign Stage at 2:45 pm. Unless otherwise mentioned, the Faire includes these events with your same-day admission. If you are planning to enter a contest, please arrive 10-15 minutes before starting. At the discretion of the contest host, some events may choose to limit the number of participants in a particular contest due to time restrictions.
