With lanterns and Halloween lights, you can explore our medieval marketplace and discover unique treasures while immersing yourself in a world of mystery.
Our Halloween event, “Boo-Yah!”, includes fire shows, costume contests, and safe Trick or Treat activities, all included with your same-day admission to the Faire. We encourage you to dress up in your favorite Halloween costume and join in on the fun. Don’t miss out on this frightfully delightful experience at The Connecticut Renaissance Faire.

Dance of the Dead
You never know what song and dance will inspire our zombies when they take the spotlight.
Kids Costume Show
Our Kids Costume Show gives your child a chance to be on stage and show off their costume. Don’t forget to capture their smile as the crowd cheers and applauds them.
Jack o’ Lanterns
Discover artisan-carved jack o’ lanterns adorning the various shops of the shire, bringing Halloween joy to all who see them.
Fortune Tellers
It is said that the veil between the world of the living and the world of the dead becomes thinner as we approach Halloween. There has never been a better time to see what your future may have in store. (fees apply)
Zombie Photo Ops
You don’t need brains to attract our selfie-addicted zombies, just a camera. Be sure to stop them for a photo op!
The Moonlit Witch Dancers
Dancing on Oct 12, 13 and 14 only! Northwest Connecticut’s Moonlit Witch Dancers, a fun group of women, centered in Torrington are part of Connecticut’s very own premier witch dancing group Crow and Cauldron with members from CT, RI, and MA.
