The Crown Players, a vibrant regional theatre troupe based in Connecticut, brings together talented performers from across New England, united by their love for the performing arts and a shared desire to captivate audiences at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire and Robin Hood’s Medieval Faire. Each year, our enchanting community theatre mesmerizes thousands of guests.
As a member of The Crown Players, you will receive invaluable professional training in various stage arts tailored to your specific role and needs. This unique experience will not only enhance your acting skills but also significantly enrich your acting resume.
Role Information
The festival opens with a grand celebration of Royal visitors to our shire. Actors portray a
variety of knights, ladies, townsfolk and travelers who have come to welcome the English
Court. It is a great opportunity to help our audience step into the Renaissance period with us.
Rehearsal Dates
- Rehearsal schedule to be determined
Performance Dates
- Every Saturday and Sunday from August 30 to October 19, 2025
- Plus Labor Day and Columbus Day Mondays
- Time: 10:30 am to 6:00 pm
Performer Responsibilities
- Arrive on site before performance times to get ready
- Be at all required performances on stage and in the street
- Stay after day end to kindly wish guests farewell at the entry/exit gate.
