The Crown Players, a vibrant regional theatre troupe based in Connecticut, brings together talented performers from across New England, united by their love for the performing arts and a shared desire to captivate audiences at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire and Robin Hood’s Medieval Faire. Role Information
The festival opens with a grand celebration of Royal visitors to our shire. Actors portray a
variety of knights, ladies, townsfolk and travelers who have come to welcome the English
Court. It is a great opportunity to help our audience step into the Renaissance period with us.
For Your Audition
Rehearsal Dates
Saturdays and Sundays 9am-6pm, August 5,6,12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27 and possibly Friday
evenings August 18, 25, Sept 1 in 2023.
Performance Dates
- Every Saturday and Sunday from September 2 to October 15, 2023
- Plus Labor Day and Columbus Day Mondays
- Time: 10:30 am to 6:00 pm
Performer Responsibilities
- Arrive on site before performance times to get ready
- Be at all required performances on stage and in the street
- Stay after day end to kindly wish guests farewell at the entry/exit gate.
