The Crown Players, the acting troupe of The Connecticut Renaissance Faire and Robin Hood’s Medieval Faire, is a group of interactive theatre performers who share a passion for history and creative storytelling.

Whether on stage or in the lanes, the Crown Players bring the audience into the 16th century of England.

We are looking for actors who can project strong, confident characters and encourage our audience to play along. Immersive, interactive, and theatrical skills will be taught and tailored to experience levels.

The cast includes the royal retinue of King Alfred and Queen Beatrice, along with townsfolk, pirates, fairies, and others who have come to celebrate.
