Connecticut Renaissance Faire Hosts a Different Fantasy Author Daily for Meet & Greet Book Signing

REGIONAL – Every day of its 20th annual event, the Connecticut Renaissance Faire will host a different fantasy author from around the country for a meet & greet book signing event.

“We’re big fans of fantasy and our ‘Meet the Author’ event is a great fit for the Faire,” said Connecticut Renaissance Faire Marketing Director, Eric Tetreault. “We hope our event helps to make the next R.A. Salvatore, Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, or George R.R. Martin.”

From 1pm to 3pm each day, a different author will sign copies of their novels and meet fans in the Faire’s ‘Meet the Author’ area. This year, The Connecticut Renaissance Faire welcomes the following authors:

The Connecticut Renaissance Faire is an enchanted recreation of a 16th-century harvest festival with continuous themed entertainment including jousting, armored combat, archery, games, comedy and more. Located east of Hartford and North of New London, The Connecticut Renaissance Faire is open rain or shine every Saturday and Sunday from September 1 to October 14 (plus Labor Day and Columbus Day Monday) on the Lebanon County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, Connecticut. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children (7-15). Children ages 6 and under are admitted at no cost. Advance tickets are available at or at the Faire’s box office on all days the Faire is open.
