REGIONAL – Escape to the past at the 20th annual Connecticut Renaissance Faire. It’s a time to play and unwind, to feast and drink, and a chance to celebrate the old-fashioned way. Watch jousting, armored combat, archery demonstrations, live-flight birds of prey, magic, and live themed entertainment running continuously on 12 stages.
Interact with hundreds of costumed performers as you meander through a 16th century village and marketplace between shows. Feast like a king on turkey legs, desserts, craft beers, and numerous foods to tantalize your taste buds.
General admission to this historic event is $15, Youth admission (ages 7 – 15) is $10, and children 6 and under are FREE. Guests can purchase tickets at the Faire box office on all days it is open or online at ctfaire.com. Parking is free with voluntary donations to local charities being kindly accepted.
ABOUT THE FAIRE
The Connecticut Renaissance Faire is an enchanted recreation of a 16th-century harvest festival with continuous themed entertainment including jousting, armored combat, archery, games, comedy and more. Located east of Hartford and North of New London, The Connecticut Renaissance Faire is open rain or shine every Saturday and Sunday from September 1 to October 14 (plus Labor Day and Columbus Day Monday) on the Lebanon County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, Connecticut. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children (7-15). Children ages 6 and under are admitted at no cost.
