LEBANON RESIDENTS INVITED TO RENAISSANCE FAIRE’S NEIGHBOR APPRECIATION DAY

Popular family festival offers complimentary admission to Lebanon residents September 2

REGIONAL – The Connecticut Renaissance Faire invites all Lebanon residents to visit “New England’s Old England” during their Neighbor Appreciation Day on Saturday, September 2. General Admission is free for residents this day with proper ID. Child residents must be accompanied by a parent or guardian from Lebanon.

“It’s our 19th anniversary and we’re glad to take the show back to Eastern Connecticut where the fun all began,” said Brian Harvard, General Manager of the Faire. “We’ve come a long way since our humble beginnings in Putnam and Woodstock and our guests are going to love our new location on the Lebanon Fairgrounds.”

The complimentary admission offer is good for opening day of the faire (September 2) for a single general admission purchased at the front gate; qualifying patrons age 16 and older, who would normally pay $15, will be admitted at no cost. Residents must provide proof of Lebanon residency at the time of purchase. Acceptable forms of ID include a driver’s license or state-issued ID bearing a Lebanon address, or a household bill (electric, gas, water, etc.) bearing a Lebanon address.

ABOUT THE CONNECTICUT RENAISSANCE FAIRE: The Connecticut Renaissance Faire is an enchanted recreation of what a harvest festival might have been like in during the Middle Ages. Since 1999, this family event has taken guests on a magical journey back in time to a land filled with pageantry, real jousting knights, archery and birds of prey demonstrations, continuous themed shows, shopping, dancing, live music, feasting, craft brews, games and more. This year the festival finds a new home on the Lebanon County Fairgrounds every Saturday and Sunday, PLUS Labor Day and Columbus Day from September 2 to October 9. www.ctfaire.com.

Renaissance Faires are filled with countless photo opportunities, but sometimes there just isn’t time to get someone out there before the story needs to launch or the budget just isn’t there to send anyone. We’re here to help. Choose from a wide variety of high-resolution photos to compliment your story. All photos courtesy of The Connecticut Renaissance Faire.
