BECOME A MERCHANT AT THE FAIRE

If you’ve attended our show before, you understand how excited our merchants are. We’re pleased to have some of the finest artisans and crafters in the country. 

10 THINGS WE’RE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU

If you have a unique product you make that isn’t sold at our show, we’d love to hear from you. Aside from a high-quality product, here are ten things we’re looking for in a merchant:
  1. Demonstrations: It is a plus if you are able to show how you craft your wares in a fun/educational way.
  2. Email: You use a service like MailChimp or Constant Contact to maintain a customer mail list.
  3. Experience: You’ve attended our show in the past or sold your wares at another Faire. Experience at non-Renaissance performances is also helpful.
  4. Handcrafted: Your product is unique and high-quality. At least 90% of what you sell is hand-crafted by you. Our preference always goes to crafters over retailers.
  5. Marketing: You are already marketing your business on Facebook, Instagram, or email.
  6. Presentation: The appearance of your costume and booth fit the theme of the show. You have a period tent and your setup is professional.
  7. Salesmanship: You are able to engage patrons in a positive manner to talk up your product. You want to give patrons a shopping experience they can’t get in a mall.
  8. Team Player: You are a team player that wants to work with the Faire toward our mutual success.
  9. Website: You have a professional website.
  10. You’re Local: We like working with people from the New England area. We’re also proud to say our merchants come from around the country to join our show.

Because we are craft-oriented and Renaissance-themed, we are not looking for companies to pitch windows, siding, solar, etc., at our show. Thank you for your interest.

EVENT MARKETING

We maintain a year-long social media and email campaign to stay on the minds of our fans. As our event approaches, our advertising trumpets begin their fanfare. We begin an aggressive campaign to reach the public. Our merchants continue to report exceptional sales year after year.
